The three things that matter most
- The public prep internet is one pattern generation behind. Aggregators describe a 3-section technical assessment. Accenture's 2026 job posting and both first-hand candidates describe 4. Section D (Computer Science) is 31% of the paper and absent from every aggregator syllabus.
- Bitwise operators are the single most corroborated topic — 4 independent aggregators name them, and 47% of the local pseudocode corpus turns on one AND/XOR evaluation.
- Questions repeat. A 2026 candidate reported 22–31% verbatim repeats. Working the question banks is not revision — it is the highest-ROI activity available. This is why

Tier 3 — recognise only
Mostly cheatsheet-and-mock coverage only. Three exceptions: B11, B5 and B4 were given full topic files and question banks on 2026-09-19, because Section B's pseudocode coverage was otherwise incomplete and two of them are load-bearing for traces elsewhere. They keep their Tier 3 weighting — study them last.
| Code | Subtopic | Est Qs | Why it is Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| D12 | Emerging tech: blockchain, ML basics | 0.87 | Two local items, no syllabus listing. Recognise "proof of work" and move on. |
| C3 | IP addressing, classes, public/private, subnetting | 0.65 | The most expensive topic on the paper — 2.5 h, Hard, for 0.65 marks. Recognise a subnet mask; do not learn to calculate one under time pressure. |
| B11 | Regex basics in pseudocode | 0.64 | One local item, not on any aggregator syllabus. Now has T34 + QB-T34 |
| B5 | Functions: scope, pass by value vs reference | 0.46 | No direct items, but 5 observed snippets pass three integers into a function. Now has T35 + QB-T35 |
| D3 | Data structures: array, list, stack, queue, tree, hash | 0.46 | High confidence it is tested, but only at recognition depth (stack = LIFO). |
| D4 | Algorithms: sorting & searching + complexities | 0.46 | Same — memorise the sorting table in the cheatsheet rather than studying algorithms. |
| B4 | Strings: traversal, reversal, ASCII arithmetic | 0.46 | No direct items, but ASCII arithmetic leaks into B2/B7/D2 traces. Now has T36 + QB-T36 |
| C4 | Network devices: hub, switch, router, gateway | 0.32 | Devices are covered incidentally by the OSI topic (C1). |
| C5 | Topologies, LAN/MAN/WAN, media, bandwidth | 0.32 | Low frequency; definitions only. |
| A8 | MS Access / Publisher | 0.29 | Only PrepInsta claims it. Zero corroboration across 93 local Section-A items. |
